Our couples retreats are offered in-person, online, or a hybrid of both and designed to teach you research-based skills to enhance and strengthen your romantic relationship, whether you’ve been together for months or decades.  The skills you will learn are based on several evidence based modalities including but not limited to:

1. The renowned Gottman Approach with more than 45+ years of research on relationships, and clinical work with couples, families, and individuals. We create custom couples retreats that integrate Gottman findings from the thorough Gottman Connect Check-Up Assessment. You will learn research-based skills that will dramatically improve the intimacy and friendship in your relationship and help you manage conflict in a healthy, positive way.

2. Compassionate Communication or Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a process of communication created by Marshall B. Rosenberg that allows us to connect with others in a more compassionate and empathetic way. NVC brings to surface the importance of language in our everyday interactions and calls us to make conscious responses to others based on perceptions, feelings, and needs.

3. Internal Family Systems (IFS) subscribes to the notion that human beings grow and have the capacity to transform, both internally and in relationships. (IFS) reminds us to be curious, calm, and much more attuned to our own internal experience and tune into each other’s true intentions resulting in healthy attachments to self and others.

4. Solution Focused helps us listen with more compassion. We are more likely to create awareness and hear the feelings and the needs behind what someone is saying. We’re more likely to see those needs as being understandable and reasonable, and not at all in competition with our own. When we have understanding and empathy, compromise and collaboration becomes easier creating opportunities for intentional choices and solutions for all involved.

5. Holistic Counseling is a process that will help you explore and identify the changes all parties want to make even if you are unsure of what you want. In collaboration, partners will explore, define and concretize the needs and desires of all partners and the relationship. You will learn how to recognize and communicate honestly on your own while holding space for your partner to do the same. Holistic Therapy incorporates Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT),

6. Emotion Focused Therapy is a therapeutic approach based on the premise that emotions are key to identity, individual choice, and decision making. This type of therapy assumes that lacking emotional awareness or avoiding unpleasant emotions can cause harm which may render us unable to use the important information emotions provide. (EFT) takes a compassionate, non-judgmental, and reflective approach to listening and questioning and draws from (CBT) and Gestalt.

We invite you to a very special 1-4-day private retreat focusing on what makes YOUR love last. This will be an exclusive retreat, which will allow for plenty of individualized, special attention from us. We hope you will be able to join us so we can share with you the tried-and-true ways to strengthen your friendship, deepen your understanding of one another, and spice up your intimacy. You’ll learn the nuts-and-bolts of conflict management so you can build solid bridges between you.

A deposit of 50% is required at the point of reservation and the remaining payment is due before the time of your appointment. Payment arrangements are made with our Clinical Administrator. Credit card payment can be completed online or over the phone.
